Centrica reopened Rough gas storage 28 Oct 2022, five years after closing it on safety grounds in 2017. Initial 50 bcf capacity (~20% of pre-2017), scalable to 100+ bcf. Restored UK seasonal storage from one of Europe's lowest ratios (~1.5% of demand) toward European norms.
