The T-4 capacity auction concluded on 27 February 2024, securing 42.8 GW of de-rated capacity for 2027/28 delivery at a clearing price of £65/kW/year — the highest T-4 clearing price on record. New build included 1.0 GW battery storage, 0.4 GW gas, 1.7 GW interconnector capacity.
