Hunterston B (965 MW) ended generation when Unit B2 shut down on 7 Jan 2022, after nearly 46 years; B1 had already closed in Nov 2021. Brought forward from 2023 after graphite-core cracking found in inspections from 2018. Second AGR closure in seven months, after Dungeness B.
