Hornsea 2 enters full operation as world's largest offshore wind farm (1.32 GW)

Ørsted announced on 31 August 2022 that Hornsea 2 — a 1,320 MW offshore wind farm 89 km off the Yorkshire coast — entered full commercial operation, surpassing Hornsea 1 as the world's largest installed offshore wind farm. Generates enough electricity for ~1.4 million UK homes.
