CfD Allocation Round 6 awards record 9.6 GW of low-carbon capacity

DESNZ published AR6 results on 3 September 2024: 128 projects awarded contracts totalling 9.6 GW — the largest CfD round. Record solar (3.2 GW) and the world's largest commercial-scale floating offshore wind project (400 MW). Budget increased to £1.5bn in July 2024.
