DESNZ AR5 results 8 Sep 2023 showed zero successful offshore wind bids — first failed offshore round since CfDs began in 2015. Industry had warned the £44/MWh administrative strike was below build cost after 30%+ supply-chain inflation. Forced AR6 strike uplift to £73/MWh.
