Centrica signs multi-year LNG supply deal with QatarEnergy

Centrica announced a 3-year agreement with QatarEnergy on 13 Dec 2022 to supply ~1 Mt/year of LNG into the UK from 2023. ~7.5 TWh annually — ~5% of typical UK household gas demand. First major UK-Qatar long-term LNG contract since the energy crisis.
